 Whole Green Peppercorns

We offer heat-dried green peppercorns from Ecuador by full container 20' or larger.

Green peppercorns are the young, unripe fruits of the Piper nigrum vine plant, the same plant where white and black pepper are sourced. The fruits grow in beautiful clusters resembling grapes.  Green peppercorns are harvested when green in color before they reach maturity. 


  • Ash: 1.2 to 1.4 g/100g

  • Ash, HCI-insoluble: 0.15-0.20g/100g

  • Moisture: max 12%

  • Volatile oil: 3.9 to 4.5 ml/100g

  • Density: 420-540 g/l

  • Shelf Life: 24 to 48 months

  • Granumelotry: 4-5mm

  • Piperine: >6%

Our Process: Fresh Green Peppercorn reception, inspection and classification.  Threshed and heat treatment for 7 minutes with hot water and cold water.  Drying with Hot Air.  Heat source: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).  Cleaned with: fan, 9,000.00 gauss magnet, and Spiral Cleaner, Bagged, Labeled, Stored and Dispatched
